Returns & Damage

We build these to order, one at a time. But you're buying something you've only seen in a photograph, and we'd rather you have a way out than talk yourself out of the purchase.

30-day returns

If a panel isn't right for your space, you have 30 days from delivery to send it back.

What you need to know before you do:

Return shipping is on you. These are heavy and rigid, and freight isn't cheap — expect $60 to $150 depending on size and distance. We're being upfront about that number rather than letting you discover it later.
Original packaging required. Keep the carton and the internal packing until you're sure. A steel panel shipped back in a moving box will arrive damaged, and damaged returns aren't refundable.
Refunds cover the panel price. Our original outbound shipping cost is deducted, since shipping was free to you but not to us.
Email first. Message us before shipping anything back so we can give you a return address and make sure it's packed correctly.

What isn't returnable

Custom sizes and custom designs
Trade and commission work
Panels that have been mounted, drilled, modified, or refinished
Anything returned without original packaging
Anything past the 30-day window

Damaged in transit

Different process, and it doesn't cost you anything.

Note the damage on the delivery slip before signing, then email us within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and the panel. We'll file the carrier claim and get a replacement cut. You don't pay shipping either direction.

If you signed a clean receipt and then found damage, still email us — it's harder to win the claim but we'll work it with you.

Wrong or defective

If we sent the wrong size, the wrong design, or a panel with an actual defect, that's on us. Email within 30 days and we'll replace it or refund you in full, including shipping both ways.

Starting a return

Email hello@libertyforgemetal.com with your order number and a sentence about what's going on. We'll take it from there.
